Is Heart Rate Being 139 Per Minute While On Medication For High BP A Cause For Concern?
My heart rate seems to be around 80 per min if I breath in it slows down a lot I am fit and exercise in Gymn every other day I do 4 0 min in cross trainer my heart goes too 139 per min I take 2.5 mg tritace for slightly high blood pressure does all sound ok. Sometimes I feel as if I m a little out of breath when walking and my pulse goes up
Hello, It is normal for your pulse and blood pressure to go up when you exercise and 139 beats per minute is okay at pretty much any age. The general rule of thumb for maximum heart rate during exercise is 220-your age. The feeling out of breath could be a problem and could indicate a lung or heart condition. If you are fit and feeling out of breath with moderate exercise then see your as soon as possible. Regards
