Hello
Heavy bleeding does not indicate pregnancy and is not a sign of pregnancy. Birth control may sometimes result in various hormonal changes and is known to be associated with side effects like abdominal cramps, menstrual irregularities, early/ late period, heavy/ no period, etc. It is important to note the pattern of bleeding after stopping the birth control of any form like pills, implants, IUD, etc. It is important to know how long you have been on birth control and your menstrual cycles while you were on birth control, etc. It would be a good idea to watch for the next couple of cycles and note the pattern of bleeding.
