Is Heavy Menstrual Flow Sign Of Uterine Cancer?

Okay last month I didnt have my period, I am not sexual active, I did have a pap done just little over a week ago. I did have my period this month but it only lasted 3 days and it was more heavy than normal. Unterine cancer and stuff like that does run in my family. In 2004 I was told that I had PID and they found out that I did have little cyst on my ovaries. Is this anything that I should be worried about?
