Is Hepatitis-C Contagious?

I have had hepatitis c since I was 10 or 12 years old .I m 45 now and the doctor is finally going to do some test s. I have never had any tests. I m afraid of what they might find and that I have exposed people I love . also my daughter that just turned 2.

Hepatitis is a blood borne disease and it is. transmitted through blood and body fluids. However sharing common room and food does not cause any problems.
