Is Herpes Transmission Possible By Kissing?

Hi, I recently met a girl and we dated twice. We liked each other very much as we have lots of things common. However, on the second date, we french kissed each other and I touched her. We agreed to have sex, but we mutually agreed to have STD tests before that. After the test, she was found to have herpes. When I kissed her, I have not seen any sores on her mouth. Anyway, I am really worried if I get herpes from her. Please help me.

I think you can get herpes only if there is a sore. If she is in remission stage and therr is no open sores most probably she will not transmit it.
