Hi, I am asking this question for my wife who believes she has viral meningitis from her symptoms of a pounding headache and hearing loud tapping noises sensitivity to light and nausea: Is high blood pressure associated with viral meningitis? Thank you. James C.

Viral meningitis is an infectious disease has feever , nucal rigidity, sensitivity to light,nervous signs etc .Blood Hypertension is another thing and doesn't have any relation to viral meningitis. To put the diagnose of meningitis you have to check cerebrospinal liquor.
