Is High Level Of Herpes I Ab And IgG To Be Concerned?

Hello, I just recently tested positive for HSV-2 during a normal routine doctor s visit with never having any signs or symptoms, let alone never recall ever having any sort of outbreak be it 1 or 2. My partner was tested also. His HSV-2 came back negative, however, I have a concern about his high levels for Herpes I Ab, IgG which had a level of 8.0. What does this mean?

Hello dear
Understand your oncern.
High level of HSV-2 Ig G and IgA suggest: secondary herpes infection or reactivation of the primary infection or residual infection
Hope this may help you.
Best regards
