Is Higher Kinetic Uv Level Harmful For The Body?

Good morning sir one of my friend has been done recently the Alt (gpt) kinetic u v test the result was showing high level of kinetic uv mean up to 49. I know this should be come below 40 what means this high no .is it harmful for the body .I need your help sir can u please describe this one

Hello and welcome to HCM,
ALT or SGPT is a liver enzyme which is elevated in conditions wherein there is destruction of hepatocytes or liver cells.
The normal range of ALT is below 40 IU/L.
The level of ALT is only marginally elevated.
For interpretation of the test results, other liver functions have also to be assessed.
Thus, kindly, post the results of other liver tests if done.
If ALT is the only parameter which is elevated, there is nothing to worry.
It does not suggest any disease or abnormality.
