Is History Of Having Red Rash On One Breast Concerning?

Hi, I had redness/rash on one of my breasts about 6 months ago - it went away after a number of days and I didn t have it checked out. I am 55 and have had a mammogram since then that has been clear. Should I still mention this rash to my doctor? Thank you, Linda

Hi,

I don’t think you need to be concerned of the skin rash if mammogram is clear and there is no new rash.If it recurs discuss it with your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, Dermatologist
