Is Hormone Therapy Required To Get Pregnant After Tubal Ligation?

I had a tubal ligation in 2003, both the doctor and the hospital staff had told me that I would be incapable of getting pregnant for 7 years. Was I supposed to be put on some type of hormone therapy after the procedure or not? Also, it now being 2013, I am having a hard time becoming pregnant now, and I m wondering if its me (due to Tue procedure) or if it s my fiancée? I understand that testing will be the conclusive determination as to weather it s either he or I or both are incapable of reproducing, but I figure why not ask.

Hi,welcome to HCM. I think no any hormone therapy is required after tubal ligation. If you want to become pregnant then recanalization operation is required to create the patency of tubes. If you have any other query then you can contact me. Thanx.
