slight soreness under left jaw for about a month. (crying a lot( after eating yesterday, pain and swelling under jaw and swelling above jaw, which did not go down. (saliva gland I have been indoors in very cold weather, but outdoors too. I ve applied hot and cold packs, but am also hypothyroid and want to help myself at home. no dr. available no sore throat.no swelling behind ear, Help, please. no temp., besides small elev.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. As you describe it appears to be the dental infection, secondary to the fracture or caries tooth. As you said you are out of the reach of doctors, i advise you to gargle with luke warm salt water twice daily will give you some relief. If possible i advise you to consult a dentist to have a intraoral X ray for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have extraction of the tooth. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts,and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
