Is Ice Pack Advisable For Swelling In The Quadriceps?
I just fell onto concrete. I am 71. I have taken arnica and rubbed Traumeel into the painful area which is below my left hip, in the area of upper hamstrings, tho my quads are also a little painful. A swelling is coming up under the small grazed area and is quite painful. Is ice the way to go?

I really appreciate your concern, such injury can be initially treated with ice, but for the swelling and pain it may needs x-ray just to rule out the fracture part, else beside the ice NSAID can be tried and best drug would be Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day hope this information helps.
