Is Infection With Joints Pain Possible After A Cortisone Injection For Tendonitis?

I got bit by a dog in July and got 12 stitches or something like that but about a week or so after the dog bite my right arm started hurting and my doctor told me it was tendonitis I had a shot of cortisone on my right elbow and since then my neck started hurting really bad and also the tendons in my left elbow I ve never had any problems with pains in my back or arms and it almost feels like my joints are being attacked is there any possible way that I could have caught a bacterial infection and couldn t have lingered on from July until now

Hello,

Consult an orthopedician and plan for an MRI scan.

As of now, you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
