Is Inflammation On The Finger After A Mosquito Bite A Matter Of Concern?

I was bitten by what I thought was a mosquito within the last half hour, but my finger is numb and a little more swollen than usual. Also quite red, although that could be because I was scratching it so much. Should I be concerned? What should I do about it?
