Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was cooking some homemade Manicotti (the meat and shells of the Manicotti were previously cooked, just heating them up) in an aluminum pan. I started smelling something, i opened my oven and noticed the plastic lid to the pan was under it and had started melting. It smelled awful. I immediately took it out. Cleaned the oven then finished heating the Manicotti. There was no more smell and no plastic got in my food. Is it safe to eat it, worried about those fumes going into our food???
