Is Injecting Abhayrab Safe During Pregnancy?
My daughter is 17 weeks pregnant and lives in Dubai. She was bitten by a cat and the hospital has administered 3 shots of abhayrab.Why would they do that knowing it’s dangerous as it contains thimerosal, and there is no rabies in Dubai. I feel like that was the most irresponsible thing they could’ve done. The doctor told her it was completely safe, as did her doctor. Is her baby going to be okay? I have had many sleepless nights since this happened and worry for her baby.
