Is Injured Upper Back With Cracking Sound And Pain A Cause For Concern?

I injured my upper back. I heard a crack and then felt pain. It s painful constantly with more pain when I lift my arms. I am taking 800 mg of Motrin and have a muscle relaxer for night. When should I got back to the doctor to recheck this pain in my back?

Welcome to HCM,
it may be caused by injury to your vertebrae too..
So i shall advise you to take a xray of that region .
Take some medications like aceclofenac and muscle relaxant combination
Voveran spray.
You should also consult a orthopaedician with your reports.
