General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi & Welcome.
I can understand your concern regarding the safety of the prescribed medications during pregnancy.

Clavicef tab (Cefixime & Potassium Clavulanate) is generally prescribed in the treatment of respiratory tract & urinary tract infections.

It is not known to cause any harmful effects on the growing fetus (unborn child) hence it is safe during pregnancy. However, it can cause skin rash, indigestion, vomiting, abdominal pain and loose motions as its side effects in pregnant mother which are usually mild in nature.

Hope this answers your query.
A feed back is appreciated.
