Is Intake Of Lexapro Advisable To Treat A Heart Patient S Anxiety?

I am a heart patient. I have had congestive heart failure, heart failure, 2 heart attacks, and v fib. I am also on a diuretic. My medical doctor just prescribed lexapro for my anxiety that causes me not to sleep. I am afraid to take it after reading up about it because of my heart conditions. I will call my cardiologist tomorrow but wanted your opinion as well. Thanks

take ECG and consult cardiologist for examination and advise for your anxiety treatment is to be given. both can be related. inform about anxiety problem to cardiologist.
