Is Intake Of Sestil AD Tablet While Not Having Diarrhea Harmful?

Hi sir / madam.... A very good morning... I have used two tablets of SESTIL AD tablets, one at night and one after having tiffin in the morning... But my problem is I don t have any diarrhea or any health problem... Will my unnecessary consumption of tablets lead to any problem? Im 20 years old and i m a girl ... be pleased to answer me and I hope a reply at the earliest possible... Thanking u...

Sestil AD (Loperamide) is an antidiarrheal agent. It works by slowing the movement of bowel contents, so in your case there may be a transient slowing movement of bowel contents, but its effect lasts for 4hours. I don't see anything to worry about. Just dicontinue use of Sestil AD if not prescribed or unnecessary.
