Is Intake Of Abortion Pill Safe While Having PCOS?
was facing problem of irregular periods from dec 14. The cycle of 28 days extends to 46-48 days. I got all my chek ups done and i was diagnosed wid pcod after usg lower abdomen on 27 may 15. The problem is i started my medicine for pcod, i.e tab duoloton around 5-6 june 15. And i am sexually active with my partner. The dates of intercourse (as far as my memory goes) is 29 may 15, 6 june 15, 12 june 15, 13 june 15, 4 july 15, 5july 15 and 7 july 15. The medicine i was taking duloton, finished on 26 june. And as a nrml chek, i thot may be my periods are again delayed, i took primolut n for 2 days to get my periods back. Which i stopped on 8 july. Till date i dint get my periods. So i happen to check my pregnancy status, just to overrule it. And it came positive. I dont know what to do next. Please suggest me, whether i should take the abortion pill directly or shall i go for usg first. As i am living in hostel and dont want dis to be revealed. Please suggest something.

As per my clinical experience, the positive urinary pregnancy test confirms the diagnosis of early pregnancy and there is no need of ultrasound confirmation if the LMP is perfectly known. It is best recommended to consume abortion pills as Mifegest or others under medical supervision and guidelines. There can be torrential bleeding in some cases and hence it is not recommended to consume over the counter medicine for this purpose.
