Is Intake Of Progesterone Sustained Release Tablets Necessary During Eary Pregnancy?

Hello doctor.. I am 26 yr pregnant with 6 week.. Dr. Suggested me to take progesterone sustained released tables of 400 mg.. For 14 days... If i stop continuing this tablet after 14 days.. Will this affect my pregnancy... Pls rply to my query... I am worried...

Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your intake of progesterone sustained release drug for your early pregnancy yes it is very safe it counterbalance the estrogen level that is produced in high level during pregnancy

No it will not affect your pregnancy even cessation after 14 days
