Is Inward Deviating Eye When Nervous And Tired Normal?
Hi, I have noticed over the last six years my left eye seems to deviate inwards at times when iam nervous, possibly tired and trying to focus at looking into someone's eyes when talking (which also makes me nervous). What do you suppose this is and do I need treatment for it? What causes this?
It is uniocular covergence deficiancy. It can be due to refractive error or muscular paralysis. Muscle mov ment is to be tested, fixation test to be done. Vision to be tested. Incase of refractive error, it is to be corrected. Cover test examine to see fixation problem. In your case the squint is intermitant. orthoptictreatment and surgical management are other option. After completing the test the line of treatment is to be deciided.
