Is Irregular Bleeding Normal After Surgical Abortion?

I had a surgical abortion about 2weeks ago and there was little to no bleeding..less than spotting.. that was only hours after. The next day I had stopped bleeding.. until 3 days go i had a deeep dark red discharge and cramping.. as the days go by theres no crmping and discharge is lessening and browning.. is that normal?

Bleeding after the 2 week of surgical abortion is not normal. As you gone through the surgical abortion chance of bleeding is less that is the reason of there was little to no bleeding..less than spotting after abortion. But deep dark red discharge and cramping and then it convert in to the brown suggest retain product of conception or infections. Please consult the gynecologist and under go for USG scan to confirm the retain product. Retain product should be treated by either misoprostol or surgical process like D & C. Infection should be treated by antibiotics like cefixime for 5-7 days depending upon severity. Hope this may help you.
