Is It OK That My Resting Rate Went Down Within 8 Months Of Running?

I am a 55 year old man with a pacemaker. I started running 8 months ago and my resting heart rate has gone down to about 52. My cardiologist even lowered the threshhold rate of my pacemaker from 60 to 50. Is it OK that my resting rate went down after only 8 months of running (about 15-20 miles per week at 9 minutes per mile pace)?

Hi
dear its a generalised procedure to keep the thresh hold limit to a lower side ... a bit lower side , 50 is mild bradycardia and actual pacemaking is required if heart rate further drops less then 50 , other wise if he sets the limit to 60/min your battery will discharge very soon and again the new battery is to be inserted through routine procedure , dont worry its a standard procedure.
