Is It Safe To Go Pool Swimming After Adenoid/tonsil Surgery ?

My 6 yo granddaughter had her adenoids/tonsils out 10 days ago; is it safe for her to go swimming in our hotel pool?

No, it is not safe yet. Wait for three weeks before allowing swimming with her head above water and six weeks before diving underwater. Internal healing takes three to six weeks. Ensure that she has had a follow up examination and is asymptomatic before allowing her into the pool.
