Is It A Concern When Both Ovaries Are Bulky With Multiple Small Follicles According To My Ultrasound Scan?

Hi doctor, i am XXXX age 23. I have recently undergone ultrasound pelvis scan. The report stating that the endometrium is 5-6 mm thickness. Right ovary 10-11 cc volume left ovary is 15-16 cc volume. Both ovaries are bulky with multiple small follicles of 3-5 mm. There is no evidence of free fluid seen in pelvis. It is PCOD... but I want to become pregnent what are the chances of getting pregnancy..

I can understand your concern.
You are having PCOD (poly cystic ovarian disease).
And infertility is the most common presentation of PCOD.
Hormonal imbalance is the cause for infertility in PCOD.. So consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination and hormone levels.
You will need hormone replacement therapy (HRT) to regulate your hormones.
Also start metformin for PCOD treatment.
With proper treatment, you will 100%get pregnant.
Consult gynecologist and discuss all these.
