Is It A Infection Having Contact Bleed And Had A Pap Smear Test As I Was Unable To Conceive?
Hi I had smear test done two weeks ago at which nurse said I had contact bleed I asked if it could b due to pregnancy as we are ttc and it was a week after OV an a week b4 next AF she said could be infection? But I've had result bk an was normal I'm now 6 days late but have had 3 neg tests the last of which I did this morning so I'm wondering if I could be PG or if smear test can delay AF a little bk ground now we have been trying for 2 years now managed it 3 times but all three ended in M/C however I got faint lines on all about 3/4 days after I missed

Pap smear does not delay a period which is otherwise regular; procedures like a cervical cauterization can. In the current scenario, you should get a serum beta-hCG titre estimation and a trans-vaginal sonogram. As the blood test is specific as well as sensitive and the urine tests may not give you proper evidence early on and may take up to one week, this would be better. The cause of your previous miscarriages should be properly analyzed and proper management done prior to conception if possible based on the cause. This would give you better results this time.
