Is It A Lack Of A Particular Vitamin That Is Causing Skin Itching Even After Treatment?
My son is 24 years old and eats terribly. No fruits very little veggies very little water ( usually soda) He does eat beef and a lot of pasta. He has recently been diagnosed with a skin disorder tinea color something? The problem is he itches even after weeks of treatment. I was thinking possibly he is lacking is some type of vitamin. Could this be possible? And if so which one? thanks claird
These are two different skin conditions caused by fungus.
Tinea corporis is characterised by red colored or brown /black colored itchy scaly lesions which requires a complete treatment for atleast 2 weeks to cure it completely.
Tinea versicolor is usually asymptomatic characterised by brown/white colored mildly scaly lesions usually on upper chest and back.
So, i will advice you to send a pic of the lesions so that i can advice you further.
Stay healthy.
Thanx

Is It A Lack Of A Particular Vitamin That Is Causing Skin Itching Even After Treatment?
hello friend, WELcome to healthcare magic. I read your query and understood your concern. Your doctor must have diagnosed it as tinea corporis or tinea versicolor. As such there is no relation in any vitamin deficiency or itching body. So, i will advice you to send a pic of the lesions so that i can advice you further. Stay healthy. Thanx
