Is It A Matter Of Concern To Have Dark Streaks Under Fingernails At The Top Of The Nailbed Which Do Not Hurt?

I have recently noticed little dark streaks under my fingernails. They are all at the top of the nailbed just in the quick. They do not hurt. My nail lady says they are little bruises. I have not had an injury to my hands. They are on both hands but more on the right hand. I am right handed.
Should I be concerned? I have been getting gel nail polish applied every 2 weeks. This has come up since I started this in October 2013.

Hi,
From history it seems that you might be having nail bed infection giving this problem.
This might be due to nail polish, containing some substances having allergic effect or corrosive effect.
Apply antibiotic cream locally,
If require go for one antibiotic medicine course.
Ok and take care.
