Is It A Mucous Tear If Having Blood With Mucous In Nose, Burning In Nose?

Doctor, I had COLD For the last 4 days. Yesterday i had a heavy burning sensation in my right nose. Along with phlegm, yesterday i saw a thick white substance came out from my right nose. Since morning, today im seeing blood along with the nasal phlegm only from right nose. Nasal phlegm from left nose is OK, no blood in it. will it be a mucus tear?? what medications should i take

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Presence of blood stained discharge from nose along with symptoms of cold suggest an inflamed nasal mucosa.
You can take steam before going to bed. This will increase the drainage and provide soothing effect to the nasal mucosa.
Is the nasal discharge yellow in color?
Yellow color indicates infection.
In case of infection, antibiotics need to be taken.
If no infection, anti-histaminic needs to be taken.
You can consult your physician for clinical examination and prescription of medicine.
