Is It A Pregnancy Or Infection As I Have White Discharge With Irregular Smell?
Hi, I have had unprotected sex but have the bar in my arm, because of the bar my period has been extremely irregular so I can t say specifically when my periods usually start. (I have memory problems so can t give any date, but periods go from being 3 weeks a month but really light or once a month) I have been having thick white discharge with irregular smell (usually odourless) and slightly tender breasts. What could this mean? Could it be pregnancy or a infection
I can understand your concern. A white, thick vaginal discharge that is not having any smell is normal, the type you have had before. However, presence of foul smell indicates presence of infection. You can take Levofloxacin 250 mg (Levoflox) twice a day for 5 days and this smell should disappear. Keep drinking lots of fluids and maintain pelvic hygiene while restricting use of scented soaps and perfumes. If you not find relief in 5 days, you should go for vaginal swab analysis.
However, smelly vaginal discharge is not related to pregnancy, but if you want to confirm whether you are pregnant or not, you can take a home pregnancy test with the first urine in the morning.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon!
