Is It A Risk For The Health Of The Baby If Having Abnormal Antibodies Test During 24 Weeks Of Pregnancy?
I am 24 weeks pregnant and had blood work done last week. My OB office called yesterday and said I had an abnormal antibodies result and needed to retest. This is my 4th pregnancy and I have never had any issues. I am just concerned as to what this may mean for the health of the baby?
It depends upon which test is abnormal. If IgG antibody is positive, it will not cause any harm to your baby. If IgM antibody is positive, it can affect your baby.
