Hallow Mumma,

Gonorrhoea and Chlamydia are sexually transmitted infections which can be completely cured with appropriate antibiotics treatment. Unfortunately, you have been reinfected by these organisms after successful treatment. Please get treated again with the appropriate treatment to get rid of these infections.

These infections are sexually transmitted; hence it is obligatory for both the partners to undergo treatment simultaneously to avoid reinfection. So please counsel your partner to get treated.

If there is no obstetric indication for Caesarean section surgery for delivering the baby, these infections - that too well treated do not pose any indication for caesarean section. Successful treatment of these infections will make you as normal as any other pregnant women.

Wish you a healthy and bony baby to breastfeed exclusively.
