Is It Advisable For A Heart Patient To Go On High Altitute ?
i have a heart condition two valves in my heart dont close and i have a hole in my heart the size of a quarter and i have plannd a trip to red river new mexico and its elevation is 8756 ft will i be ok?
It is better to cancel the trip, as it is a hingh altitude area , there will be physiologiacl changes in the body, like tachycardia, tachyopnea(increase respiratory rate) symptoms like palpitation, chest pain, breathlessness, which may worsen the heart disease, hence avoid the journey...
Hope I have answered your question..
Takecare...
