Is It Advisable To Change Medication To Herbal Life?
I am currently on a high dose of methotrixate 25mg for psoriasis and arthritis and wanted to start herbal life but am unsure whether it will cause any problems. I also had a baby 8 months ago and suffered with gestational diabetes and have to have a blood test to check I no longer have it. Should I speak to my GP before starting? Please help with some advice
Hello Yes it is advisable to shift to herbal medication but it depends on your present state of disease and duration for which you have taken medicine. Sudden discontinuation may cause reversal of the disease, it is advisable to taper off chemical based drugs and initiate herbal based safer and effective drugs. This calls for gradual changeover process. Regarding your baby he calls for expert advise by your GP.
