Is It Advisable To Go For Co2 Dot Laser For Hypopigmentation?

I have suffered from Meslama for 5 years now due to a dramatic change in hormone levels. I have tried everything from IPL, Pearl and Tighten, VI peels, Various other peels a compound of hydroquinone 6%, tretinoin 4%, and retin A, many of the lightening agents offered by exclusive derma grade lines Skiencueticals, IS Clinical, Jan Marini, Dr Zien Obagi, Lifecell etc etc. I actually have Hypopigmentation I'm pretty sure from the Hydroquinone compound. I stopped using retinoids last week because my skin is severely dry and not happy with me at all. So now back to the basics IS clinical pro heal C and CereVe moisturing cream to introduce some moisture back into my skin. I have scheduled an appointment to have the Co2 dot laser done and wanted to know if this is a wise choice to even out my skin tone??

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Now-a-days laser is increasingly being used for various skin ailments especially cosmetic problems.
The treatment protocol depends on the extent of problem, condition of your skin and whether this is an indication for laser treatment.
You need to consult your dermatologist or cosmetologist for clinical examination, relevant investigations and thus management.
You will have to discontinue all the medications that you are using before starting new therapy.
You will be told about all these precautions by your treating doctor.

Thanks and take care
