Is It Advisable To Join Army Having Spinal Fusion At The Age Of 15?

hi, i am just 17 years old and want to join the army as a medic, to become this i will have to do 14 weeks on basic training. i have went to a carrers office and spoke to them about this and they have asked me if i have an medical problems, i broke my back at the age of 12 and had a spinal fusion at 15 do you think this will stop me going into the army!! thank you for your help
