Is It Advisable To Take Cefdinir For Sinus Infection?

My husband has sinus infection. went to doctor today - prescribed him Augmentin. I have the same illness. I took one of his pills this morning. I have a left over bottle of Cefdinir from the last time I had sinus infection. Can I take this med tonight?
