Is It Advisable To Take Progesterone Cream?

I am a 60 year old woman who underwent a supra-cervical hysterectomy two years ago. I take Tri-Est .1 mg daily. My medical providers diametrically disagree on whether I should continue taking Progesterone Cream. One says "absolutely" while the other says "no way". What is your opinion?
