Is It Advisable To Take Utrogestan 100mg When I Am Pregnant?
My wife, who is 5 weeks pregnant, is in Singapore and I am in Canada right now...she was prescribed to take Utrogestan 100mg after meals twice per day...the info I read stated not to take with meals and not to take when pregnant. The doctor did no medical exam and only did an ultra sound and ask some questions. We don t know what she should do or what she should take. She is also taking a Folic Acid and Iron supplement.

avoid iron during 1st 12 weeks as it can increase nausea...start after 12 weeks...
uterogesten is progesterone and its safe during early pregnancy..so dont worry..its given to support pregnancy..
