Is It Advisable To Use Panderm+ Cream To Get Fair Skin?
hi my name is arvin nd i frm punjab i have one doubt regarding this cream (Panderm+) my friends told me that if it is used our skin will get white.i used it and my black spots almost gone but when i stopped useing this cream then again my black spot will appearing on my skin and my colour changed to black please suggest me shall i continue this cream or not.?
Panderm cream is a drug combination and contains a potent steroid+antibacterial+antifungal. Dermatologists avoid using this combination.
This combination should never be used as a regular use cream because of the risk of side effects of steroid abuse such as acne, photosensitivity, skin thinning and telangiectasia, facial hair growth(specially troublesome in females) and skin whitening(as is happening in your case) etc.
Therefore it should not be used as a regular use fairness cream.
You could use a broad spectrum sunscreen, that which offers both UVA and UVB protection, throughout the day. Neutrogena dry touch ultrasheer sunscreen is an OTC sunscreen marketed by johnsons and johnsons in india.
A cream containing kojic acid, glycolic acid, arbutin, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate etc are also skin lightening creams and are safer for long term use rather than the this drug combination e.g panderm cream.
