Is It Advisable To Withdraw From Meloxicam In The Morning?
hi! My question for you this evening is this , I have been taking meloxicam 15 mg 1@ day for years ,i had decided to stop some of my meds and this was one of a few ,I was looking up all my medications tonight through thesite and wanted to know when is the best time to stop taking it in the morning or at night ?please answer this fo me should I take it first thing in the morning or at night . thank you very much ,im truely confused
if you want to stop taking meloxicam, it doesn't matter what time you are stopping it, you can stop it any time. Then you will have to see if the (to be assumed) pain comes back (since it is a pain medication).
If you want to take it, take it in the mornings. It is generally recommeded only to do daily intake for several week (around 3 weeks). Longer intake can increase cardiovascular risk like thrombosis, heart attack or stroke.
It is advisable talking tou your treating doctor about changing any medication. Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
