Is It Atopic Dermatitis Having Red Marks On The Cheeks After The Removal Of Numbing Cream During The Process Of Non-ablative Laser Treatment?
I started getting a red dry wheal under my eyes about three months ago, it kinda went away after 6 weeks, then I got a non-ablative laser(gentle yag skin tightening) procedure and after he took off the numbing cream m I has red marks on my cheeks. It has been 5 weeks since the laser and it is still there. I don t think it is related to the laser because i had the same symptoms under my eyes before getting treated. It is now spreading in small dots. I went to the Take Care Clinic and they prescribed me Sulfameth/Triam antibiotics. Will this help. I think it might be atopic dermatitis.
Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum. The previous one may be the fungal infection. The present condition may be the allergic reaction of the cream, or the laser it self. I advise you to consult your laser specialist for the problem. I usually prescribe to my patient with symptoms citrizine, cifixime, and mixed steroid ointment. Take more of green leafy vegetables, pulses, sprouts, and protein rich foods to hasten the recovery. Wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
