Is It Better To Replace One Testicle Or Both Due To Damage?
Hello,
sorry for bad English. I was wondering if you have some experience with testicular compensation for a 12-year-old boy. The son was 8 months ago in cycling accident. Immediately after the accident were removed one testicle. The second testis was severely bruised, but left in the scrotum. A son still complains of severe pain in the remaining testicle. We were recommended castration - removal of the remaining testicle. It is better to replace the one treatment both testes, or castrated and then odalovat make a refund only to the absence? It is better to choose the same size as the now (extra small - small) or cause the testicle to insert an adult size? How do you solve this problem in your clinic, please. Thank I'm grateful for any advice. pookud can write an email sarka.mm @ seznam.cz
Hi, If there is severe pain in the remaining testicle you should get an Ultrasound and Doppler done of the scrotum to see whether it is surviving. If it is surviving then you should not get it removed. If it is not viable any more then you should get it removed and replace it with adult size. Do let me know if we can help with any other queries you might have. Take care, Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
