Is It Common To Have A Delayed Period On The First Month Of Birth Control?

Hi. I started levlen Ed birth control tablets a month ago (the beige tablets) and was due for my period two days ago but they haven't come yet. I had to open a new blister packet, And started on the beige ones Again. My period hasn't come yet, am I taking the right tablets? Hi,

Slight menstrual irregularities, including delayed period can happen after using birth control pills, especially on the initial days of usage.

It will settle by itself in a couple of months and it doesn’t indicate that you are pregnant.

You can go for a urine pregnancy test just for reassurance.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
