Is It Dangerous To Consume Melted Plastic?

Hi, I used a plastic spoon to stir and prepare a cup of hot chocolate. When I finished my drink and took out the spoon that I have in my cup all the while, the spoon had gone out of shape. Is there a chance I might have drank some melted plastic and if I did, is it toxic?
