Is It Dangerous To Have Bleeding And Burning Sensation In Anal Area After A Colonoscopy?

Hello .A week ago I had a colonoscopy and the doctor advised me that there were no polyps. Since the procedure when I pass a stool I bleed and have a burning sensation in the anal area. I have always suffered from fissures and I wanted to know if the colonoscopy caused by fissure to bleed or is this something more serious?

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe, you have a tendency of the recurrent fissures in ano. That usually happens due to the incomplete cure of the fissures.
As it is common, it would have recurred with th eprocedure of the colonoscopy.
I advise you to consult your doctor for cure of the fissure. You may need to have the dialatation of the anus, and then treatment.
I usually prescribe, after the procedure ofloxacin, ornidazole, and serratiopeptidase, and diclofenac.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
