Is It Due To Menopause That I Am Leaking And Having Heavy Bleeding?

I have very strong/unpleasant smelling urine with very small amount of leak age so wear liners but the smell is awful. I have also had very heavy bleeding lasting a month or more at a time I was referred for an opp to destroy the lining of the womb which will be next month but my last bleed was dec26th - feb 1st but nothing since do I still need the opp ? ad it be menopaus?

Hello,

Irregular periods are quite common in the perimenopausal time. You can wait a couple of days for spontaneous recovery.

If bleeding persist better to consult a gynecologist and plan for an ultrasound to rule out conditions like endometrial thickening or malignancy even though it is unlikely.
