Is It Harmful To Be Stung By A Wasp During Pregnancy?

Hiya! I was stung by a couple of wasps twice and I was 5 weeks pregnant. I did not take any medicine, only applied baking powder to the affected area. However, my foot got ever so swollen and travelled to my lower calf. Can the venom reach my unborn child? YYYY@YYYY

Hi welcome to healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your question.
As you stung with wasp and it may cause allergic reaction and rarely cause anaphylactic shock, although is rare but it may cause.
And you also has foot swollen then i would advise to consult family physician as early as possible.
